How far in advance should I book for a wedding?
+
For weddings, as early as possible — particularly for peak season dates between October and April. Popular spring and summer weekends can book out 6–12 months in advance. Don't hesitate to reach out even if your date is approaching — we'll always let you know honestly what's available and do our best to help.
Can I have a marquee wedding anywhere?
+
Almost anywhere — that's one of the biggest advantages of a marquee wedding. Your parents' backyard, a winery, a clifftop, a farm, a park, a beach — if there's outdoor space and we can get access, we can make it work. We'll discuss your site's suitability during your enquiry and flag anything that needs attention.
Do I need a council permit for a wedding marquee?
+
This depends on your local council, the size of the structure, and the location. Some council-owned parks and reserves require permits for temporary structures. On private property, requirements vary. We can advise you on what's typically required and our installations always meet relevant safety standards. We recommend checking with your local council early in your planning process.
Can I use my own florist and stylist inside the marquee?
+
Absolutely — and this is one of the most popular reasons couples choose a marquee wedding. The structure is a completely blank canvas. Your florist, stylist, and caterer can style it exactly as you envision with no venue restrictions on suppliers, colours, or design choices. We set up the structure; you and your team make it beautiful.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
+
Our structure marquees are fully weather-resistant. With solid side walls fitted, you and your guests will stay completely dry regardless of what the weather does. For cooler months, we can discuss optional heating. Weather is one of the most common concerns couples have — and one of the strongest arguments for a marquee over an open outdoor setup.
Do you supply tables, chairs, and furniture for weddings?
+
Yes — we stock a full range of event furniture including natural timber banquet tables, trestle tables, Hampton crossback chairs, Americana chairs, bar tables, Tolix stools, and lounge furniture. We can package furniture with your marquee hire for one delivery and one invoice. For premium lux-line furniture, ask us about our Emerald partnership with That Event Group.
Can I have a separate ceremony and reception marquee?
+
Yes — many couples hire a smaller pagoda or structure for the ceremony and a larger structure for the reception. This is a great way to create distinct spaces and transition your guests through the day. We'll plan the layout and quote for both structures together so everything works cohesively on your site.
